This project focuses on creating an engaging and informative video series that educates visitors about the rules and regulations of Yellowstone National Park. My videos aim to enhance visitors' understanding of how to responsibly enjoy the park while preserving its natural beauty and resources. I created these animations using Procreate, which allows users to create animations using the cel animation technique. I then, brought them into After Effects to add color and other effects to the videos.

Respect the Bison Bubble
In this video, a tourist is seen getting too close to a bison, which causes the animal to get frightened and kick him. This incident serves as a good example of what can happen when bison are overwhelmed by crowds of people getting too close, or both. In this video, a tourist is seen getting too close to a bison, which causes the animal to get frightened and kick.

Spray Safe
We see an average hiker making their way through the park. However, their food is left uncovered which causes the bear to associate the human with food. It's important to know the signs to look for in a bear to determine when it's time to use bear spray to repel the bear.

When we say hot, we mean really hot
In this video, we follow a tourist who thinks it is okay to step off of the boardwalk. They soon learn that it is quite in fact very dangerous due to the high temperatures at the hot springs.

I created multiple sketches experimenting with various styles and aesthetics for the series, including drafts of people and animals, until I achieved a consistent final look.

These videos would live in the offices and the registration areas for when guests arrive and need instructions. These are created to be easily digestible and easy to understand in the quick times that they are viewed.
