I wanted to create a short video for a hypothetical Bears Touchdown, scored by DJ Moore. I focused on branding and design systems to bring in the Chicago feel, while also adding fun movements to keep the audience's attention. Again, this was just concept art and was not affiliated with the Chicago Bears, the NFL, or anything else.

I started with a few screens and a rough storyboard in Illustrator to test out the different elements with each other. The whole concept came from an illustration I did of a player catching a ball, so I knew I wanted to start the video out with that in some way. There were a few ideas in here that I really enjoyed, but once I started working, I had to adjust and found different flows for the information.

I used the "Amador" font for the "Touchdown" screen to try to match the font that they use for their Instagram. I thought this would bring in a nice mix of fonts used within the company and would also look on-brand if posted on their Instagram. I also enjoyed the way it looked when the Bear logo broke through the back of the screen.

I used the "Dripping Marker" font for the name and number when highlighting Moore to introduce a more fluid font and mix it up from the beginning.
